Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water 110°F
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast 1 packet
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted (for brushing)

Instructions

  • Activate the Yeast: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  • Mix the Dough: Add vegetable oil, salt, and 2 cups of flour to the yeast mixture. Stir until combined. Gradually add the remaining flour until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Shape the Rolls: Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape them into balls. Place them in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Let Them Rise: Cover the rolls with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise in a warm place for 10 minutes.
  • Bake: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the rolls for 10-12 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  • Finish and Serve: Brush the warm rolls with melted butter and serve immediately. Enjoy!
