Ingredients

Layer 1: Cookie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers about 14 full sheets

Layer 2: Chocolate Peanut Butter Filling

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Layer 3: Crispy Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Layer 4: Chocolate Drizzle

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips melted (for drizzle)

Instructions

  • Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and crushed graham crackers until well combined. Press into the bottom of the pan to form a firm base. Chill for 10 minutes.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter for the second layer. Stir until smooth, then spread evenly over the chilled crust. Chill again for 10 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar, and peanut butter over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in crispy rice cereal.
  • Spread the crispy mixture over the chocolate-peanut butter layer and press down gently.
  • Melt additional chocolate chips and drizzle over the top.
  • Chill the entire pan for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper to lift the bars easily out of the pan for slicing.
  • For clean layers, chill between steps and use a hot knife to cut.
  • Try crunchy peanut butter in the third layer for extra texture.
  • Store bars in the fridge for longer shelf life and better texture.
