Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and transfer the beef to the slow cooker.
Prepare the Ingredients: Add diced onion, garlic, carrots, celery, and potatoes to the slow cooker.
Add Liquids & Seasonings: Pour in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, and tomato sauce. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and the bay leaf.

Add Green Beans: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the frozen green beans and let them cook until heated through.
