Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey sausage or beef sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, cheddar, almond flour, baking powder, and seasonings.
  • Mix thoroughly using your hands or a stand mixer until everything is well incorporated.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • For extra crispy edges, bake on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  • Use pre-cooked sausage to save time, but make sure it's well mixed.
  • Add chopped jalapeños or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Freeze uncooked balls on a tray, then transfer to a bag for long-term storage.
