- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon orange zest from 1 large orange
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, powdered sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the vanilla extract and orange zest.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Scoop 1-tablespoon portions of dough, roll into balls, and place 2 inches apart on the baking sheets.
