Ingredients

For the Peanut Base:

  • 6 full-size KitKat bars cold
  • 2/3 cup roasted peanuts

For the Filling:

  • 1 1/3 cups heavy whipping cream cold
  • 8 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar divided
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Optional Caramel Sauce:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter cubed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream warmed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Optional Chocolate Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips semisweet
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Optional Toppings:

  • Extra whipped cream
  • Chopped roasted peanuts
  • Extra KitKat chunks

Instructions

  • In a food processor, pulse KitKats and peanuts into coarse crumbs. Divide into 10 small serving cups.
  • In a medium bowl, whip cream with 1/4 cup powdered sugar to stiff peaks. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth. Add remaining powdered sugar and mix until blended.
  • Fold whipped cream into peanut butter mixture in three batches until fully combined and creamy.
  • Spoon or pipe filling over the KitKat base in each cup.
  • Refrigerate cups for at least 2 hours, or up to 2 days.

Optional Caramel Sauce:

  • In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook without stirring until amber-colored.
  • Remove from heat, whisk in butter, then cream and salt.
  • Return to heat briefly until smooth. Cool completely.

Optional Chocolate Sauce:

  • Melt chocolate chips with cream in microwave or saucepan.
  • Stir until glossy and smooth. Cool before using.

To Serve:

  • Top chilled cups with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, chopped peanuts, and KitKat chunks if desired.

Notes

  • Chill your bowl and beaters before whipping cream for best volume.
  • Use cold KitKats to make cleaner crumbs.
  • Can sub caramel and chocolate sauces with store-bought for convenience.
  • Recipe can be made as one large dessert pie instead of cups.
