Ingredients

  • 6 oz baking dark chocolate chopped
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter diced
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 11x7-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chopped chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until fully combined. Let cool slightly.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar on medium-low speed until thick and pale, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the chocolate-peanut butter mixture and vanilla.
  • Gently fold in flour until just combined.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, or until the center is just set.
  • Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Use natural creamy peanut butter for the best flavor.
  • Don’t overbake; brownies should be slightly soft in the center when removed from the oven.
  • For extra visual appeal, reserve a few tablespoons of peanut butter to swirl on top before baking.
