Ingredients
  

For the brownies:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

For decorating:

  • Candy eyes
  • Candy corn or mini chocolate candies for feathers
  • Orange or yellow chocolate-coated candies for beaks
  • Melted chocolate or chocolate frosting for attaching decorations

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin pan or line with mini paper cups.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder just until combined.
  • Spoon the batter into the mini muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
  • Once cool, spread a small amount of melted chocolate or frosting on top of each brownie.
  • Decorate each with candy eyes near the center, a candy beak just below, and candy corn or chocolate pieces arranged like tail feathers around the back.
  • Let decorations set before serving or storing.

  • Use a squeeze bottle or piping bag for neater chocolate application.
