- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning or homemade blend
- 1 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 15 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 15 oz can corn, drained
- 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Rotel)
- 1 14.5 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder adjust to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese sour cream, avocado, tortilla chips, cilantro
In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease if necessary.
Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 3 minutes.
