Quick Chocolate Banana Muffins Recipe – Chocolate and bananas are always a good combination – like in these airy and delicious muffins. Just try it out and enjoy.

Ingredients
FOR THE MUFFINS
2 ripe bananas
220 g Flour
3 tbsp Baking cocoa
2 tsp Baking powder
120 g Sugar
1 pck. Bourbon vanilla sugar
100 ml Cooking oil
125 ml Buttermilk
2 Eggs
FOR THE DECORATION
100 g Dark chocolate
50 g dried banana chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees (convection: 160 degrees). Line the muffin tray with muffin cups. Peel bananas, halve and cut into slices. Crush half of the discs with a fork.
- Mix flour with cocoa, baking powder, sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Add oil, buttermilk (alternatively you can also use cream), eggs and banana puree and stir for 2 minutes on high speed with the mixer. Finally, fold in banana slices and spread the dough over the 12 muffin hollows. Bake for approx. 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
- For decoration, coarsely chop couverture. For example, set aside the couverture for garnish. Melt the remaining couverture in a bowl over the water bath and spread over the muffins with a teaspoon. Coarsely chop banana chips. Decorate with chopped couverture and banana chips.
