Chocolate Bars with Chocolate Chip Recipe

Chocolate Bars with Chocolate Chip Recipe – Chocolate cookie base, fudge and 2 cups of chocolate chips – these over the top chocolate chip bars are a chocolate lover dream come true!

1 3/4 cup (210 grams) all purpose flour
1/4 cup (20 grams) cocoa powder
1 cup (200 grams) sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup dark chocolate, roughly chopped
1 can (14 oz) condensed milk
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 cup chocolate chunks
1 cup white chocolate chips


  1. Heat the oven to 350F. Line a 13X9″ baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a food processor add the flour, cocoa, sugar, butter and egg. Pulse for about 2 minutes or until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Take the cookie dough out, reserve 3/4 cup and press the remaining cookie dough on the bottom of the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, melt 1 cup of dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and mix it with the condensed milk and reserved cookie dough.
  5. Gently spread the chocolate mixture over the partially baked cookie base and return to the oven.
  6. Bake for further 15 minutes.
  7. Take the pan out of the oven, without turning it off and scatter the mini chocolate chips, chocolate chunks and white chocolate chips over it.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the chocolate just starts to melt.
  9. Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely before removing from the pan.
  10. Cut into bars and enjoy!
