Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 10 Oreo cookies chopped

For the Cream Cheese Swirl:

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Topping:

  • 6 –8 Oreo cookies halved or roughly chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.
  • Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold in chopped Oreos.
  • Spread half the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  • In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla, and mix until creamy.
  • Spoon cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer and spread gently.
  • Top with remaining brownie batter in spoonfuls, then swirl gently with a knife to marble.
  • Press halved/chopped Oreos into the top.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is just set.
  • Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • For clean cuts, chill the brownies before slicing.
  • Don’t overmix the swirl to keep distinct layers.
  • Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest texture.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
